The staff was friendly attentive and excellent, helped a lot. The rooms were airy and decent sized with an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron. The breakfast was delicious and very very good and included in the rate.

Our whole experience was relaxing, would recommend. The breakfast was superb with homemade preserves and all the food was good. We got superior queen room and loved it. The location was particularly good and lovely, for example, landscaped gardens was just a short walk away from the hotel.

As for me, the location was magnificent, next to shops and parks and gardens, the town centre, and beaches. Furthermore, the hotel was approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Edinburgh Gin Distillery. Had a well-appointed and comfortable quiet room to myself with the bathroom, open windows, as for instance. The breakfast was delicious with homemade preserves and had something for everyone.
